The Atano III Fronton is a short Basque pelota court located in the Amara neighborhood of the Anoeta Sports Complex in San Sebastián, where both the bare-handed and short-handled pelota modalities can be played.
Like most frontons, its acoustics are highly complex, due to both the construction materials and the geometry of the space. Furthermore, matches generate a high level of ambient noise.
UDE has provided a solution using self-amplified line arrays controlled by DSP, achieving spectacular results and providing the facility with a high level of intelligibility and sound pressure.
